Aperture and Shutter Speed/What you need to know!
How does shutter speed effect your shot?
- Well your shutter speed effects how much motion is shown in your picture. So if you have a slow shutter speed, you will have a lot of blurred motion in your shot. Vise versa, if you have a fast shutter speed you will get low blurred motion in your shot.
OK OK, but um what about aperture? How does that effect your shot?
- So the aperture effects the depth of field within the photo. The aperture is just a little circle in your lens that adjusts itself based on where you are. It shows you the range of distance in which your imagine will look less sharp or very sharp. The aperture not only effects sharpness in your image, but how much light enters it as well. F-stops are measurements that determine how wide you want the camera lens to open, which also determines how much light is projected into your image. When you use a large F-stop you get more light in your shot. But when the F-stop is small, less light comes in.
That's' about all you need to know for now! :)
